BENTOSTAB POUDRE facilitates the clarification and precipitation of proteins during alcoholic fermentation in white and rosé musts
During the clarification of white wine, BENTOSTAB POUDRE stabilises the wines with regard to proteins.
The fineness of the particles in BENTOSTAB POUDRE gives the product an optimal swelling capacity in water and a great ability to stabilise the wine and a high capacity to transport colloids.
BENTOSTAB POUDRE ensures protein stability (75% deproteinisation power) and improves the efficiency of cold passage and the filterability of wines.
Application
Add BENTOSTAB-POUDRE to 10 times its weight in water, stirring vigorously to avoid the formation of lumps.
Leave the suspension to swell for 6 to 24 hours and stir every 6 hours.
Stir again vigorously before adding to the tank to ensure good homogenisation.
The use of warm water (50 °C) optimally supports rehydration.
Dosage
- for must: 30 to 100 g/hL
- for wine: 10 to 70 g/hL
The dosage should be calculated according to the protein instability of the wines. To check the dosage, please carry out pre-tests.
Storage
Store in a dry, well-ventilated and odourless place at a temperature between 5 and 25 °C.
After opening, the product must be used quickly.
This product can be used as an alternative to FERMOBENT.
