Principle:.
The boiling temperature of dry wines depends on their alcohol content, altitude and air pressure. The boiling temperatures of the water and the wine to be analysed are noted and transferred to a calculating disc, which directly displays the alcohol content with an accuracy of 0.1 % vol.
