For hermetically sealing your bottles.
This wax is not elastic and crumbles when uncorked.
Sold as a bar in aluminium tray of approx. 500 g or boxes of 20 bars
Melting point: 71-77°C
Flash point: 180 °C
Solubility: insoluble in organic solvents and water
How to use it correctly?
Melt a part or a whole sheet using a protected / indirect heat source (electric pan - water bath).
Do not boil, the sealing wax may ignite on prolonged contact with a flame.
In case of fire, do not spray with water, but smother the flame (with a damp cloth or by covering the container with a lid).
In case of burns: Cool with plenty of water. Apply an anti-burn agent and seek medical attention.
Storage
In a dry, well-ventilated place.
