Heating rod for insertion into drums and/or tanks through the bunghole. The heating rod is controlled by the built-in thermostat. This switches off automatically when the set temperature is reached.
If the temperature drops, the heating rod switches on again. The temperature increase of 0.8°C / 1000 l / hr.

Safety instructions

• Only operate the heating rod from an earthed socket
  
• The heating rod must be operated via a residual current circuit breaker with max. 30 mA
  
• Check whether the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage specified on the rating plate of the appliance
  
• the heating rod must be completely immersed in clear liquid
  
• before removing the heating element from the tank, switch off the heating element (unplug) and allow to cool down (approx. 10 minutes)
  
• do not subject the cable to any tensile stress (except the weight of the stainless steel body) and do not kink it
  
• Always store the appliance in a dry place
  
• Do not pull the protective tube over sharp edges
  
• Never use the appliance with a damaged plug box or protective tube
  
• Do not put a damaged appliance into operation
  
• ensure that children do not use the appliance.
  
• If the heating element is switched on when dry, the stainless steel body becomes very hot and there is a risk of burns when touching it and a risk of fire if it comes into contact with flammable materials!

Please note: this heating rod is only suitable for liquids without solids. Grape skins, for example, stick to the heating rod and burn in due to the heat. This greatly reduces the temperature transfer.
